FROM CONNECTION TO AUTHORITY
Preparing the Vessel to Carry the Fullness of God in An Increasingly Volatile Earth As I’ve been transitioning and as many of us have been transitioning from 5786, the Year of the Vav, the Hook, Nail, Peg, and Anchor into 5787, I’ve become increasingly aware that something deeper is happening. I can almost feel it. There is something in the atmosphere that feels different. And I don’t believe we should simply interpret it as the changing of the seasons from summer to fall. I believe there is a spiritual transition taking place. Something is shifting. For me, The Vav Mandate has always been about becoming a living connector between Heaven and earth, revealing a people who are firmly anchored in God, aligned with His purposes, and positioned to carry His Presence and Kingdom authority into the places He has assigned us. But now I believe we have to ask a deeper question: “What has my connection prepared me to carry?” That question is becoming increasingly important as we move into 5787, because connection with God is not the destination. Connection prepares us for expression, authority, maturity, and manifestation! FROM CONNECTION TO AUTHORITY I believe 5787 is going to require us to prepare our vessel. There are seasons when God doesn’t simply give us another revelation. There are moments when God begins preparing us for what the revelation will require of us. And I believe that is where we are now. 5787 is inviting us to move from simply knowing that we are connected to God to understanding what that connection has empowered us to carry, release, establish, and represent. It is a movement from: Connection → Expression → Authority → Maturity → Manifestation. This is why I believe preparation is so important. We are living in an increasingly volatile world. We are navigating spiritual warfare, cultural toxicity, emotional distress, psychological pressures, societal instability, spiritual confusion, and challenges affecting individuals, families, communities, and the Church. And yet, God has not called us to become overwhelmed by what is happening around us. He has called us to discern the times without becoming contaminated by the times. That distinction matters. I don’t want to simply recognize what is happening in the world. I want to know how Heaven wants me to respond to what is happening in the world. I don’t want to become so aware of darkness that I lose my awareness of the Light. I don’t want to become so engaged in warfare that I forget who governs me. And I don’t want spiritual activity to be mistaken for spiritual authority. Because this hour requires more than information. It requires discernment. It requires more than passion. It requires maturity. It requires more than prophetic language. It requires prophetic responsibility. And it requires more than spiritual activity. It requires spiritual authority under divine government. So the question is no longer simply: “Am I connected to God?” The question I believe we must now ask is: “What can God release through me because I am connected to Him?” That is a very different question. And honestly, it is a sobering one. WHAT 5786 ESTABLISHED I believe 5786 gave us a foundation. The Vav spoke to us about connection, alignment, anchoring, and positioning. We were learning how to become firmly connected to Heaven while remaining strategically positioned on earth. But now, as we enter 5787, I believe the Lord is challenging us to move forward: Connection to Expression; Anchoring to Authority; Alignment to Action; Positioning to Manifestation. This means we cannot remain where we were. The connection was preparation for the expression. The anchoring was preparation for the movement. The alignment was preparation for the assignment. And the preparation was preparation for the manifestation. WHAT MUST I DO DIFFERENTLY IN 5787? That is one of the questions I believe we need to wrestle with. Not simply, “What is God going to do?” But: “What must I do differently because of what God is doing?” I believe 5787 will cause us to examine our connections. What am I connected to? What am I anchored to? Where am I aligned? What has my voice agreed with? Where have I become disconnected? Where have I become misaligned? And perhaps most importantly: What am I carrying that God never asked me to carry? Because if I am going to carry the fullness of what God wants to release through me, I cannot continue carrying everything else. There has to be a preparation of the vessel. BE READY FOR MOVEMENT I believe 5786 was a year of building momentum. But 5787 is going to bring us into defining moments of movement. And when I look at the relationship between these Hebrew pictures and numbers, I see something that speaks deeply to me: VAV ● PE ● ZAYIN 6 ● 80 ● 7 And the imagery gives us: Hook → Mouth → Sword. That progression speaks prophetically to me: Connection → Expression → Authority; Anchoring → Voice → Weapon; Alignment → Declaration → Action. Do you see it? The Vav connects. The Pe speaks. The Zayin carries the imagery of the sword. And that helps me understand why the preparation of 5786 matters so much for what we are stepping into in 5787. God has been connecting us because He intends to speak through us. He has been anchoring us because He intends to move through us. He has been aligning us because He intends to release something through us. The connection was never just about being connected. It was about becoming a trustworthy connector. 5787 AND A SANCTIFIED MOUTH And this brings me to something I believe is going to be extremely important in this next season: Our mouths. What is coming out of us? What are we saying? What are we agreeing with? What are we declaring? What conversations are we participating in? And what kind of language has been developing inside of us? Because our words reveal more than what we think. They reveal what we
